Airgas Inc. (ARG) Company Profile
Airgas- (ARG)-distributes industrial, medical, and specialty gases, and welding, safety, and related products in the United States. It offers various gases, including nitrogen, oxygen, argon, helium, and hydrogen; welding and fuel gases, such as acetylene, propylene, and propane; and carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, ultra high purity grades, and special application blends. As of March 31, 2007, it operated an integrated network of approximately 900 locations, including production facilities, packaged gas fill plants, specialty gas labs, distribution centers, branches, and retail stores. The company was founded in 1982 and is based in Radnor, Pennsylvania.
