Deutsche Bank Initiates Coverage on Plantronics (PLT)Oct 14, 2013Deutsche Bank reported on Monday that it has started coverage on Plantronics Inc (PLT) . The firm has initiated coverage on PLT with a "Buy" rating and $60 price target. This price target suggests a 22% upside from the stock's current price of $46.68. Analyst Yi-Dan Wang commented: "Our in-depth review of the Headset market shows that it is an undervalued niche in the Technology industry today. PLT is the clear leader with ~60% share of the core CC&O segment. Its management has executed well & PLT has lifted its CC&O market share steadily by >10% in the last decade. It is in a strong position to deliver more robust growth due to Unified Communications (UC). We forecast that with this, PLT can deliver sales & EPS CAGR Mar 14-18 of ~15% & ~20%, respectively. At just 17x 1-yr fwd P/E, shares in PLT can gain from multiple expansion, earnings growth & earnings upgrades, in our view." Plantronics shares were mostly flat during pre-market trading Monday. The stock is up 27% YTD.Expand to read the full story
