  • Circor's Profits Can Not Be Obstructed (CIR)

Circor International (CIR) , the maker of valves and fluid control products, has substantially raised their earnings guidance. The company is now expecting profits of $1.04 to $1.10 per share, compared with earlier guidance of 74 cents to 83 cents per share. Products such as fittings, actuators, condensate pumps, flow meters and water heaters are all selling well for the company. It also helps that Circor's core customers are in naval, aerospace and energy markets, which have all been in strong demand. Circor's stock price has risen nearly 45% year-to-date (including today's massive price jump). We feel that this recent success is only the beginning for Circor, and, despite their small dividend payout, we're recommending that investors take a close look at this stock in anticipation of more growth (and hopefully higher dividends) in the future. Circor International (CIR) is a “Recommended” dividend stock, currently holding a Dividend.com rating of 3.8 out of 5 stars.
