Senior Housing- (SNH)- is a real estate investment trust, or REIT, which primarily owns senior living properties throughout the United States. SNH is headquartered in Newton, Massachusetts. As of September 30, 2005, it owned 184 properties, including 85 assisted living facilities, 61 skilled nursing facilities, 36 independent living communities, and 2 hospitals.
