The Blackstone Group L.P. was founded in 1985 and is headquartered in New York, New York with additional offices in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, London, Paris, Tokyo, Mumbai, and Hong Kong. In 2009, Blackstone Group purchased iShares, the ETF provider, for $13.5 billion. Blackstone Group has been paying a dividend since 2007, and has increased it annually since 2013.
