  • Brean Capital Raises Price Target on Wolverine Worldwide (WWW)

Brean Capital announced on Tuesday that it has raised its price target on Wolverine Worldwide (WWW) from $63.00 to $70.00. Brean also reiterated its "Buy" rating on the company. The higher price target comes after Wolverine Worldwide, a Michigan-based apparel company, beat analyst estimates for its third quarter earnings and revenue figures. Brean analyst Daniella McCoy noted "We believe companies with visible long-term growth stories, strong global brands and solid operational platforms are optimal investment opportunities, especially in a somewhat rich market, and are more than deserving of premium multiple. 3Q was another demonstration that management remains focused on executing individual brand initiatives and leveraging its global platform, and that the PLG acquisition, still in its early stages, is outpacing initial expectations." Krueger, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. "Double-digit revenue increases across many of our brands, such as Merrell, Sperry Top-Sider, Saucony, Keds, Chaco and Cushe, helped drive the phenomenal earnings performance. Additionally, solid single-digit revenue growth in North America and excellent double-digit growth in Latin America, Asia Pacific and EMEA reflect the impressive global momentum of our business."
