  • Carlisle Companies Misses Q2 EPS Estimate, Posts Profit (CSL)

Diversified manufacturer Carlisle Companies (CSL) reported earnings on Tuesday morning, posting a decline in profits and missing analysts' EPS estimates. Analysts were expecting an EPS of $1.34. Carlisle Companies President and Chief Executive Officer, David A. As a result, organic sales were down slightly this quarter and our EBIT (earnings before interest and taxes) of $122.5 million, excluding the pre-tax impairment charge, declined by 13% versus last year.” Shares of Carlisle Companies were up slightly in Tuesday morning trading, and the company is up over 9% YTD.
