  • Energizer Holdings, Inc. Downgraded at Wells Fargo (ENR)

Early on Tuesday morning, Wells Fargo downgraded Energizer Holdings (ENR) to "Market Perform" from "Outperform." Wells Fargo maintained a range of $109 to $112 for ENR's valuation. Wells Fargo maintains its EPS estimate for 2014 to be $7.41 and its 2015 EPS estimate is $7.97. Energizer stock was inactive in pre-market trading. It finished yesterday down 24 cents, or 0.23%.

  • Jefferies Initiates Coverage on Energizer with "Hold" Rating (ENR)

On Tuesday, Jefferies reported that it has started coverage on Energizer Holdings, Inc. (ENR) . The firm has initiated coverage on ENR with a "Hold" rating and $91 price target. This price target suggests a 3% decline from the stock's current price of $94.50. Analyst Kevin Grundy commented: "Our SOTPs suggests 4% downside in the shares." "Despite consensus estimates moving lower post 3Q and restructuring savings to soften the blow, our bias remains to the downside given competitive pressures, secular headwinds in ENR's household business, and the necessity for greater investment to address anemic top-line trends," the analyst added. Energizer shares were mostly flat during pre-market trading Tuesday. The stock is up 18% YTD.
