Altria Group, Inc. (MO) is a holding company that owns cigarette maker Philip Morris USA. The company also offers cigars through its John Middleton subsidiary and holds a portfolio of leveraged and direct finance lease investments through its Philip Morris Capital Corporation. In addition, MO owns an approximate 27% interest in beer brewer SABMiller plc. Altria was founded in 1919 and is based in Richmond, Virginia.
