Company Profile

Consol Energy- (CNX)-engages in the production of multi-fuel energy and provision of energy services primarily to electric power generation industry in the United States. As of December 31, 2007, it had estimated proved and probable reserves of approximately 4.5 billion tons of coal and total estimated proved developed and undeveloped reserves of approximately 1,339,909 million cubic feet of gas. CONSOL Energy was founded in 1991 and is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
