AT&T: Dividend Cut, but Better Long-Term Forecast

As one of the largest and first telecoms on the planet, AT&T (T ) has been a staple of investors’ portfolios for decades. And because of its size and stability, the firm has been a steady source of dividends and income. It’s one of the main “widow & orphan” stocks around. But lately, AT&T hasn’t acted like itself. However, it appears that AT&T may finally be on track for long-term success once again.

With a much-needed dividend cut, a major spin-off of its media properties and a return to telecom operations, AT&T is back on firm footing.
