Before the opening bell on Thursday, Hewlett-Packard Company (HPQ ) announced that it has boosted its quarterly dividend by 10%.
Hewlett-Packard has raised its quarterly dividend from 16 cents to 17.6 cents, or 70.4 cents annually. The company said that this increase will be effective when its May dividend is declared. HPQ will pay a 16 cent dividend on April 1.
The technology company has been consecutively raising its dividend since 2011.
Shares of HPQ were mostly flat during premarket trading Thursday. The stock is down 17.69% YTD.
