And yet, despite being so essential to life, many investors have little-to-no exposure to water in their portfolios.
But, maybe they should.
Water investment is on the rise with new infrastructure plans and spending rising across government and private sectors. And yet, this multi-year spending binge may not be enough. Rising demand is pushing water wells into crisis mode, and that could spell plenty of opportunity for investors.
