If there’s one sector that has been cast away by investors, it would have to be technology. After being the superstar since the Great Recession and throughout the pandemic, investors have cast away technology stocks in a big way. With interest rates rising and inflationary pressures now persisting, growth stocks are no longer on the menu.
For investors, that’s caused plenty of pain in their portfolios.
While it may make sense to throw some all-revenue/no-profit startups, the question is whether or not we should abandon tech altogether. Many of the largest and most profitable tech stocks are now trading for peanuts and offer high and stable dividends. Opportunities could exist here.
