Buffett’s Letter Has Plenty for Dividend Investors

There are certain market gurus and pundits who have achieved legendary status. Thanks to their correct calls, mastery of trends and overall performance, these gurus and their advice are certainly worth following. Perhaps none is worth listening to more than Warren Buffett.

After buying failing textile mill, Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.B), and using it as a vehicle to buy stocks, companies and other assets, Buffett is arguably one of the most successful investors of all time. The proof is in his net worth and status as one of the richest human beings on the planet. And thanks to Buffett’s folksy wisdom, he’s often requested for interviews where he spells out his strategy in simple terms that average Joes can employ.

One of the best places to find his advice is in his annual Berkshire Hathaway investor letter. Released at the tail end of last week, the latest letter has lots of advice, especially for those focusing on dividends and long-term investing.
