An old foe is once again making itself known in a big way. After years of low and even deflationary pressures, inflation is starting to rear its ugly head.

For investors, this poses a problem. Many have simply forgotten about how dangerous steadily rising prices can be for your portfolio and your future income. It’s critical that investors realize how powerful inflation can be.

With that, adjusting our portfolios to once again include some sort of inflation-fighting asset classes is a very prudent strategy indeed.
