The current times are pretty confusing for investors.

On one hand, there are plenty of geopolitical concerns causing a ton of volatility. The current trade problems to mind. The question is whether these sorts of items will push the U.S. further along toward recession and a major market downturn.

On the other, economic data seems to still be good – even fantastic, in some cases.

A variety of metrics still point to better times ahead for the economy and stocks in general. This includes two economic data points related to manufacturing and business activity. Looking at inventories, investors may continue to see brighter times ahead – even with the market’s bout of volatility.
