PNC Financial Services Group Inc (PNC ) reported lower fourth quarter results on Friday morning, but the company still beat analysts’ estimates.
PNC’s Earnings in Brief
- PNC reported net income of $988 million, or $1.84 per share, down from $1.01 billion, or $1.87 per share, a year ago.
- Revenue dipped to $3.95 billion from $4.07 billion last year.
- On average, analysts expected to see EPS of $1.74 and $3.80 billion in revenue.
PNC will pay its next 48 cent dividend on February 5. The stock went ex-dividend on January 13. We expect the company to declare its next dividend in April. The next dividend may be an increase from the current payout.
Shares of PNC were mostly flat during pre-market trading Friday.
