Fertilizer companies can have their presence across the consumer staples, industrial, and materials sectors. The broad group contains those firms that produce/distribute any material ( natural or synthetic) that is applied to plants to facilitate growth. Firms can either produce fertilizer from raw chemicals, mine such as potash or sell premixed fertilizers for consumer/business use.
