Quarter Can’t End Soon Enough for Bulls (AGU, HUN, CLF, FLR, more)

June 30th, 2008

3:51 pm Est.

The Dow is up 26 points. The Nasdaq is down 15 points. The S&P is up 4 points. Gold closed down $3 to $928.30. Oil closed down 21 cents to $140. The 10yr. is 3.98%.

Traders on the long side can’t move past this quarter fast enough. Very few names were shining today, but on the long side, Agrium (AGU), Fluor (FLR) and Cleveland Cliffs (CLF) held up well. Priceline (PCLN) dropped a little further from our earlier post. No specifics for the big drop yet. Huntsman (HUN) is moving well after yesterday’s Barrons mention (we covered it in the barrons breakdown post). Commodity will again be the focus as we move into the new quarter and major summer months. Keep a cool head and be sure to use your discipline as well as your trading stops we preach about. Have a great night everybody.
