It will be the first week of Q4, and we are excited to see a number of companies lined up to announce their earnings.

Besides corporate earnings of large-cap companies like Pepsico (PEP ) and Monsanto (MON ), we will also see a handful of economic data releases. Insights revealed by fundamental indicators like manufacturing PMI, jobless claims figure and the unemployment rate will help investors understand how the hurricane season affected the overall economy in September.

As the Dow is trading at record high levels, and the bullish tendencies in the economy are becoming habitual, it will be an interesting week to see how investors react to the hawkish Fed policies announced last month.
