Americans’ Economic Not-So-Well-Being

In addition to its full-time job of trying to guess the optimal rate of interest, the Federal Reserve does a lot of analysis.

Last week, it released one of its studies, “Report on the Economic Well-Being of U.S. Households in 2015,”and the results were disheartening. On the whole, Americans are in poor financial shape.
