Everyone loves a deal. Getting a product or service for 10% off is great no matter how you slice it. When it comes to stocks, it’s what “value” investing is all about–buying assets for less than their fundamental worth. You could rip through balance sheets, do distributable cash flow analysis or other screens to find “cheap” stocks.
Or, you could take a slightly easier path.
An esoteric and often forgotten security type has “value” already baked into its shares. For investors, it’s time to reacquaint themselves with closed-end funds (CEFs).
