Hasbro and EA Entertainment Enter Mobile Game Agreement (HAS)
On Tuesday, Hasbro Inc. (HAS) and EA Entertainment announced that EA will be making mobile platform versions of many of Hasbro’s highest-selling games.
In the press release, Hasbro, which makes Monopoly, Battleship, Scrabble, The Game of Life, and many other gaming staples, commented that the deal “is specifically focused on leveraging Hasbro’s rich game brands with EA’s leadership in the mobile space. Our relationship with EA for mobile is an integral component of our digital strategy for developing Hasbro brands across gaming platforms.”
The four-year agreement will involve several of Hasbro’s games.
Hasbro stocks were up slightly on the day, and the company is just over 6% off its 52-week high.
