Sterne Agee Upgrades Brinker International to “Buy” (EAT)

Restaurant owner and operator Brinker International, Inc. (EAT) was upgraded by analysts at Sterne Agee on Friday.

Sterne Agee’s channel checks on EAT suggest better sales visibility. Accordingly, the analysts upgraded the owner of Chili’s and Maggiano’s from “Neutral” to “Buy.” Sterne Agee see shares of Brinker reaching $36, a +14% upside to Thursday’s closing price of $31.59.

Brinker shares were slightly up during premarket trading on Friday. The stock is up +18.05% year-to-date.

Shares of Brinker International (EAT) have a 2.53% dividend yield, based on last night’s closing stock price of $31.59. The stock has technical support in the $28-$29 price area. If the shares can firm up, we see overhead resistance around the $32-$34 price levels.
