Ford Expects to Sell 2.2 Million Vehicles in 2012 (F)
On Sunday American motor vehicle manufacturer Ford Motor Company (F



) reported that it expects to sell 2.2 million vehicles in 2012, eclipsing the 2 million mark for the second year in a row.
The Dearborn, Michigan-based American car giant says the the Ford Focus is the company’s most popular model, selling 737,856 units of the model through September. The Ford Fiesta and Ford F-series trucks are other popular models for the company.
Ford shares were flat in premarket trading. The stock is up +19.61% year-to-date.
