Power Integrations Inc. (POWI) - This company designs, develops, manufactures, and markets proprietary, high-voltage, analog integrated circuits. Its products include TOPSwitch, which integrates a pulse width modulation, controller, a high-voltage MOSFET, and various other electronic components for use in various applications, including set-top boxes, DVD players, desktop computers, LCD monitors, and printers; and TinySwitch used in adapters for portable equipment, such as cell phones, personal digital assistants, digital cameras, computer peripherals, and power tools, as well as for power supplies found in personal computers, audio/video equipment, and home appliances. Power Integrations was founded in 1988 and is based in San Jose, California.
