Amtrust Financial Services (AFSI) - This company operates as a multinational property and casualty insurance company. The company operates in three segments: Small Commercial Business Insurance, Specialty Risk and Extended Warranty, and Specialty Middle-Market Property and Casualty Insurance, principally in North America, Europe and Scandinavia. The Small Commercial Business Insurance segment provides monoline workers�¢€™ compensation insurance and an array of commercial package products, including general liability, workers�¢€™ comp and farm and ranch insurance, to a niche audience of small- to mid-size businesses in qualified classes, such as restaurants, retail stores, private schools, business traveler hotels/motels and light manufacturing. The Specialty Risk and Extended Warranty segment serves manufacturers, service providers, retailers, and third party warranty administrators that provide coverage for accidental damage, mechanical breakdown, and related risks for consumer and commercial goods. It provides coverage for products like consumer electronics, consumer appliances, hand tools, credit payment protection, GAP insurance, commercial and residential properties, and legal expenses. The Specialty Middle-Market Property and Casualty Insurance segment underwrites worker�¢€™s compensation, general liability, commercial auto liability, and commercial property insurance for retail, wholesale, service operations, artisan contracting, light and medium manufacturing, and habitational industries. The company sells its products through a network of independent wholesale agents, brokers and retail agents.
