The company's portfolio of proprietary products and services gives it the opportunity to capitalize on the need to optimize production in new as well existing fields. Although the stock is up about 23% in the last year, we are initiating the stock with a 3.0 stars out 5 rating, and is therefore not recommended at this time. We feel that oil service stocks should be bought only on pull-backs, and this stock is one of our least favorites. We prefer Haliburton (HAL) and Smith International (SII).
