Company Profile
Helmerich Payne- (HP)-is primarily a contract drilling company. As of March 31, 2008, the Company's existing fleet included 172 U.S. land rigs, 27 international land rigs and nine offshore platform rigs. In addition, the Company is scheduled to complete another ten new H&P-designed and operated FlexRigs®*, all of which correspond to previously announced commitments with customers. Upon completion of these commitments, the Company's land fleet will include a total of 144 FlexRigs. The company was founded in 1920 and is based in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
