St. Mary Land Exploration- (SM)-engages in the exploration, exploitation, development, acquisition, and production of natural gas and crude oil in the United States. It primarily operates in the ArkLaTex, the Mid-Continent, the Gulf Coast, the Permian, and the Rocky Mountain regions. As of December 31, 2007, the company had estimated proved reserves of 78.8 million barrels of oil and 613.5 billion cubic feet of natural gas. St. Mary Land & Exploration Company was founded in 1908 and is based in Denver, Colorado.
