As of December 31, 2007, the company owned 3,385,000 gross acres of leasehold, including 407,800 acres of royalty interest. The company was founded in 1975. It was formerly known as Lomak Petroleum, Inc. and changed its name to Range Resources Corporation in 1998. Range Resources Corporation is headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas.
