Houston American Energy (HUSA) - This company engages in the exploration, development, and production of natural gas, crude oil, and condensate. The company primarily focuses on properties in the U.S. onshore Gulf Coast Region, principally Texas and Louisiana; and the development of concessions in the South American country of Colombia. As of December 31, 2007, its net proved reserves consisted of 1,281,227 barrels of oil in South America and 4,012 barrels of oil in North America. The company was founded in 1981 and is based in Houston, Texas.
