The company holds interests in the LaRonde, Goldex, and Lapa mine projects located in Quebec region; the Kittila mine project in Finland; the Pinos Altos mine project in Mexico; and the Meadowbank mine project in Nunavut. As of December 31, 2007, the company managed exploration in 80 properties in central and eastern Canada, 7 properties in the United States, 2 properties in Finland, and 2 properties in Mexico. The company was founded in 1953 and is based in Toronto, Canada.
