Frontier to Buy Verizon Landlines in $8.6 Billion Cash/Stock Deal (FTR)

Telecom provider Frontier Communications Corp (FTR) said Wednesday that it has reached a deal with Verizon (VZ) to purchase several million rural phone access lines in an $8.6 billion cash/stock deal.
